Dr. Mendel L. Abrams

Dr. Abrams is a licensed professional counselor with WPCS serving the Hyattsville area and Rabbi of Beth Torah Congregation in Hyattsville.  He holds a Doctorate of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, a Masters degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and advanced certificates from Harvard University in Cambridge and Loyola College in Baltimore.   He is the past president of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, a certified member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, past Executive Committee member of the Rabbinical Assembly of America, and past President of the Rabbinical Assembly of Greater Washington and the Washington Board of Rabbis.
